The Introduction of Skarlet!

Hello, hello!

I am Skarlet, also known as Talezya or Sososher in-game. Sososher.8524 is my account :p. You may recognise me as the guild leader!

I'm always awful at introductions so I'll keep this short and sweet: I'm in the United Kingdom, on Piken Square server. I'm studying at University and I'm getting married in March 2016. I have a fish called Gyarados! I'm 21 years old and I love Pokémon, Doctor Who, One Piece, Fairytail and NCIS. Reading is awesome and Roleplaying is even more so, even though I haven't done it properly in a while. I'm rather busy due to my studies, but I am quite active on Guild Wars 2.

My favourite Guild Wars Characters are... Scarlet Briar, Taimi and the dragons - Kralkatorrik, Shatterer and Glint especially. So shiny @.@

Talezya - Human Guardian, Level 80, Birthday: 18th September 2013
Growing up in the commons of Divinity's Reach with her foster family, Talezya always put others before herself. She was known for leaping in the middle of battle to save a friend, or healing and reviving others before caring about her own well-being. Her kind-heartedness is also her downfall, as well as a warmly trait. With the death of her friends, she takes a while to recover - always looking out for the families of the deceased and consoling them in their time of need. This does not stop her, however, from completing her duty; to aid her guild, her race, her home and the rest of Tyria from any dangers that they may face. She joined the Durmand Priory, not only to satisfy her thirst for knowledge, but to ensure that those who perished were never truly forgotten.

Spiritae - Human Necromancer, Level 80, Birthday: 7th February 2014
As quiet as you can get, Spiritae keeps to herself. Aware of the dangers that which the world hosts, she believes that distancing herself from companionship is the most appropriate way to deal with the ongoing threats of the Elder Dragons. Using only her minions as her companions - more for sanity than actual desire for company - it was general knowledge that her secrets were her own. For this reason, she joined the Order of Whispers to aid in the defence of Tyria (not that she wanted to particularly save anything, but more so that she kinda likes it here). Pleased that the order lets her work alone or in small groups, she slaughters those in her way by using her power over her minons, whilst keeping herself alive during the process. Through all this, subtlety in appearance is not her thing. She understands that people will stare - she's a necromancer, after all. Why not have the armour to prove it?

Cikaya - Human Warrior, Level 80, Birthday: 24th August 2014
Lieutenant of the Seraph, Queensdale Division. This is how Cikaya would always introduce herself. Taking from her parents, she joined the Seraph as soon as she was age to do so. Protecting the citizens of Kryta and defending her Queen are her main priorities. With the threat of the dragons looming, and upon the suggestion of Captain Logan Thackery, she joined the Vigil to strengthen the defence against the dragons. Cikaya is a stern person, but still approachable. She may have a level head, but it is not to be mistaken for any kind of weakness, as it has been known that she can get incredibly aggressive when provoked. Despite her Warmaster title in the Vigil, she never uses it herself, preferring her original profession of Seraph Lieutenant (of Queensdale). She's one friend you can count on, but an enemy you do not wish to cross.

Sososher - Human Ranger, Level 80, Birthday: 3rd April 2014
A bubbly soul if there ever was one - Sososher adored animals. Specifically, she adored her pets. Ever since she was young, she wanted to become a ranger, not for the combat, but for the animals that would be in her care. She was known to coo over them, taking a while to name each individual pet as she judges their own personality. Sososher also joined the Durmand Priory to learn more about her furry, feathery and scaly friends and has read nearly every book, article and artefact around them. Her ultimate plan is to train every type of animal that is permitted - befriending them all equally with love an compassion.

Skárlét - Charr Thief, Level 80, Birthday: 31st January 2015
Skarlet, a member of the Ash Legion, was known for her stealth and assassination. Killing was second nature to her - she did it sneakily, silently and with precision. Where many preferred to speak, she sat quietly - observing and listening to find the best leverage and vantage for her benefit. Finding out on her potential, she was invited to join the Order of Whispers, with Tybalt Leftpaw as her mentor. Skarlet instantly got along with Tybalt, finding him amusing and fun. She mentioned that after the dragons were defeated, he should join her warband, which he mentioned that he would consider. Skarlet and Tybalt always went on drinks after missions and always had a good laugh - they were a good team. The two fell into a deep friendship, developing into a casual partnership, resulting in a cub who Tybalt aptly named "Adam". Leaving Adam to grow in the Fahrar organized by the order, Skarlet and Tybalt continued on their duties, not letting their relationship interfere with their duties. However, when their mission took them to Claw island, Skarlet was devastated when Tybalt bravely sacrificed himself to save his friends. From then onwards, Skarlet vowed to avenge her lover's death, earning her the name "Risenbane". After a firm choice in her mind, she took Adam from the Fahrar and with her to teach him the ways of a thief in the Order of Whispers. Due to his quick training and bravery at such a young age, he was blessed with the name "Braveclaw". Together, mother and cub avenge the death of the father, the ultimate goal being Zhaitan himself. Throughout all this, Skarlet Risenbane tells Adam Braveclaw the favourite story of his father: He saved the world with his bravery, and now he is selling apples in the mists.

Auzeea - Asura Elementalist, Level 80, Birthday: 27th October 2014
Auzeea loved the weather. She loved it so much that she created a weather changing machine and also studied to become a successful elementalist. As a progeny, she would study the stars, the clouds and conduct experiments in even the most extreme of storms. She loved running between gates from Maguuma to the Shiverpeaks - fascinated by the sudden change in weather and temperature. She would often brag of how she found out how rainbows are formed before she could walk, and how her elementalist skills were much further advanced than others because of her studies. She was sometimes ridiculed, as her eyes had been damaged due to the exposure to sun followed by sudden cold, causing her pupils to contract into cat-like slits as opposed to wide circles. This didn't bother her, though, and she outright refused to stop her strange habits.

[Scarlet Ceara is based off the Guild Wars 2 Character - Scarlet Briar (Ceara). Known to have fallen into madness, her vanity and intellect cause her to create weapons of destruction whilst laughing in the face of all those who oppose her]

Erdoma - Sylvari Elementalist, Birthday: 16th January 2015
A true minion of Mordremoth, Erdoma harnesses the power of the dragon to defeat all who oppose him. Whilst doing so, she also acts as his double-agent, spying on the other races, as well as where the Pact has advanced. In her dream, Erdoma saw that she must take it upon herself to bring the pact down from the inside out, striking at their weakest points. A follower of Scarlet's work, Erdoma has studied her intently. Her plan is to infiltrate the Durmand Priory, so that she may learn just how much they know about her Master, and slowly but surely, destroy all evidence. Her claims are that she talks to her Master, relaying information about the world of Tyria and the other dragons, and their plans to defeat him. She knows that some are wary of her intentions, but it does not bother her. She uses the power of the elements to destroy them before they can warn any others.

Kaíseth - Human Guardian, Birthday: 13th February 2015
Not as vain as Lord Farren, Kaiseth prefers humility over boasting and bragging. Born into nobility, his father a former minister, Kaiseth never really had it rough. He was used to the life of luxury and nobility, but he never let it get into the way of his heart. Even as he grew older, he always wished to join the Order of Whispers, admiring their charm and secretive ways. Farren may be his friend, but he believes that Farren most certainly cannot join the order; he's too much of a blabbermouth. Kaiseth found his life boring so far - he wanted adventure and promise for more. He wanted to take the fight to the dragons, instead of just sparring with servants who just let him win. He didn't want to brag about it, of course, but he certainly yearned for a better future.

Almira Shadow - Human Thief, Birthday: 23rd September 2014
Always a charmer, especially for a street rat, Almira has escaped a jail sentence numerous times just by words alone. Stealing from taverns, merchants and crafters, she always made enough gold and gained enough food to get by. Her friends - a tight group of street thieves - looked up to her and always asked for her aid whenever they got into trouble. If it wasn't for her, they'd likely be rotting in the jail cells of Divinity's Reach. She was jealous of the nobility, often seen jeering offensive remarks at them when the Seraph and Ministry guards weren't around. Despite her criminal past, she was loyal and true to her friends - always getting them out of trouble when they needed it, even though she was pretty sure that they wouldn't do the same for her.

Glints Gaze - Human Guardian, Birthday: 11th November 2014
Born in Ebonhawke to the name Kara Salta, she was raised in secrecy from the rest of the world. Whilst many feared and opposed the dragons, Kara's parents idolised one - Glint, the champion of Kralkatorrik, who turned against him and perished trying to destroy his rule. When she was seven years of age, Kara and her folks set off into the crystal desert to a pilgrimage to Glint's Lair. However, their beliefs could not save them from the destruction brought upon them in the desert, where the two devoted parents lost their lives in the sands. Kara, young, lost and alone, cried out for help until her voice was no more, sand in her throat and drowning in the dunes. However, something happened that she could only explain as a miracle - she saw Glint. A mirage was a likely possibility, but Kara believed the Glint blessed her and carried her from the desert, back to the gates of Ebonhawke, where she was found and taken to Divinity's reach to be nursed to health. Her voice eventually returned, although raspy and sore. For these reasons, she preferred not to speak, but christened herself "Glints Gaze", after her encounter with her deity. Since then, she vowed to protect Glint's legacy, especially as she caught wind of the rumours that Glint's Egg had been found.

Lotyn - Norn Thief, Birthday: 16th October 2014
Lotyn had a firm belief that - in a previous life - Raven had blessed her as a magpie. She was known for her thieving ways and greed towards gold, silver and shiny trinkets. Many dubbed her "the Norn Skritt", for her attachment to glimmering objects had grown so great that her home was more of a hoard, and could not be lived in by any normal person. The talks surrounding her didn't bother her as much as many would believe - she was happy, content with her collection of shinies. She would fearlessly defend them with her life, turning aggressive and into a blinding rage if anyone would dare touch her collected and stolen treasures.

Assíl - Asura Necromancer, Birthday: 28th January 2015
Assíl was always a strange Asura, but that didn't stop her. She followed in Oola's footsteps, wanting to combine Necromancy and golemancy into one, which is the main reason she got accepted into the college of Synergetics. Unlike other Asura, she preferred not to brag about her creations (as much), but she knew she was a genius above the rest. Her downfall was her minion mastery, or lack of. She could never really keep minions around - always experimented on them rather than letting them aid her combat and everyday needs - she didn't really have full control over them (not that she'd admit it, of course), and preferred to keep them contained in her lab rather than permitting them to follow her. She did her experiments alone, away from her krewe, for two reasons: one, they got creeped out by the minions, because they're idiots, and two, because she really, really, really didn't want them to see that she wasn't the best at commanding them to do anything.

Taekó - Human Warrior, Birthday: 31st January 2015
Taekó's family was one of the last to travel from Cantha to Kryta, almost succumbing to the rising of Orr. Fortunately, they survived and lived their days in Divinity's Reach, providing four generations following. They were a wealthy family, bringing many of their riches from their Canthan home, and always keeping up with their Canthan traditions. Taekó was no exception to this. Whilst she was brought up to become an elementalist, Taekó followed in her sister's footsteps and became a warrior, favouring the longbow, sword and shield over staffs and sceptres. With her petite frame and tiny form, her weapons seem to overpower her and she appeared to be the weakest, most unlikely warrior ever to live. However, despite the looks, Taekó was a confident fighter, who took up her arms in pride, believing that her actions shall please her Canthan ancestors.

Korreh - Norn Elementalist, Birthday: 7th October 2014
[Korreh is based off Korra from Avatar - The Legend of Korra. With a generic teenager attitude, she harnesses the power of the four elements - whilst favouring water - to help restore peace to the world.]
